charan00007 Posted August 11, 2017 Report Share Posted August 11, 2017 Hi I COMPLETED MY MASTERS FROM A.C.I.C.S accredited university in march 2016 and filled h1b application through masters Cap (Masters quota) received a RFE about university . My employer responded with a letter from the university stating that my masters is completed when the university is having accreditation . But here is the point what is the chance of getting approval for H1B ?? Is this masters is valid or invalid Link to comment

JoeF Posted August 12, 2017 Report Share Posted August 12, 2017 A lot of these shady "universities" are for-profit institutions. A degree from a for-profit institution, even an accredited one, can NOT be used for an H1 in the Masters quota. Care to tell us the name of the institution? Link to comment
