prithamprk
Hey all, I have a h1b stamping with an employer that is expiring in September 2018. I changed my employer early this year and now I'm planning to visit India. My company attorney said I don't need to go for stamping since I have a valid h1b but my question is what if my old employer revokes my h1b? Link to comment
pontevecchio
The OLD employer HAS TO REVOKE the Petition by law. That does not affect your existing visa. Link to comment
JoeF
You seem to be confused about H1 petition and visa. The old employer has to inform USCIS that you no longer work there, which results in the petition revocation. That has nothing to do with the visa. You can enter with the old visa and a copy of your new H1 petition approval. Link to comment
medojipavan
You don't need to go for stamping again. As you have valid I 797 with the new employer, you can use it at the port of entry. Visa stamping that you already have will work at port of entry. Link to comment
