Green Card processing with nationality Change

Hi,

My employer might approve for Green Card sponsorship. I am currently in H1B from India. My husband recently had a nationality change from Indian to French. 

What will happen if I apply for change of nationality while my GC request is in progress. If I proceed to apply for my nationality change it may take one year for me to receive French nationality. Is it advisable to remain in Indian nationality and get my GC done then change to French nationality.

While my GC request is in progress, will it delay and reset my application if there is a nationality change.

The PD is based on COUNTRY of Birth. There will be no difference.
