Queries on I-485

I am in US on H1B and have my I140 / PERM approved. My family is in India and have H4 visa. Our visa (H1/H4) is valid till 12/2017.  
My priority date is current now.

Can I file 485 for my self now and later for family?
If my GC is approved then, is my family H4 visa status still valid until I file their 485?
Once I get my GC, what is the minimum duration I need to spend in US per each year? If I can't spend then will there be any issue?

Once your GC is issued/approved, they will lose H4 status and will have to follow to join with delays. Have them return in a few days and file their AOS along with yours.

Once you become a permanent resident, you will have to reside and work here and pay taxes on all worldwide income.
