If so, what is the duration before which I need to find another job? Also, please let me know on how do I change / move from H1 to GC EAD. Currently I am on H1. Thanks.

pontevecchio Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 As long as the AOS is valid, you are legal to stay. They MAY issue an RFE in some cases and then you would need to show an EVL and certainly another similar job would do if the AOS is pending more than 6 months. You would tell HR that you are using the EAD as your work authorization and fill in an appropriate I9.
