shandev Posted June 28, 2017 Report Share Posted June 28, 2017 Hi, My India visa is valid till Oct'2018 and my US passport expires in Oct'2017. I plan to travel to India for couple of weeks in Aug'2017. Should I renew my US passport before going to India, or will I be ok to enter and exit India as I will still have 2 more months before my US passport expires. I've researched through Indian embassy website and other immigration topics here, but couldn't find any relevant or accurate information for my question. Would appreciate if someone can advise. pontevecchio Posted June 28, 2017 Report Share Posted June 28, 2017 Since you will have to renew the passport before October, I would suggest getting a new one before the trip and obviously carrying both passports for the trip. Link to comment
