Pankaj1987
My company filed H1B and it got approved. I got i797B. Is there any way of changing i797b to i797a without get it stamped from India? I am sure my company will not file any other request to USCIS to change it. So, Can I take help from outside Attorney? Link to comment

pontevecchio
1. Was the H1 not filed with COS? 2. When does your F1 status end? 3. What makes you sure you have not got an I94? Did you enquire from the company. 4. I797 A, B etc. are just different copies of the approval to different people, you, your Lawyer, Your company etc. 5. If you have an approved H1 without COS then you will need to get the visa. Link to comment
