gopal.tuniki@gmail.com
I have a question regarding my visa expiry date. 1) As I moved to state B from State A my company applied my H1B relocation on 01/2016, after application submission I moved to state B 2) My H1 was getting expired on 04/2016, we have filled for H1B Extension on 03/2016 in premium, which got approved and assmue below are the details I-94:11111111111 valid date:03/2016-01/2019 3) My H1B relocation which applied in 01/2016 got approved on 12/2016 and assume below are the detailsI-94:11111111111(same as above) valid date:05/2016-05/2018 I have two questions 1) what date should I consider as my visa/i-94 date expiry, for applying extension. a) I should consider relocation one, as which is the latest approval copy got from USCIS or b) I should consider my extension one, as it is having highest expiry date and which is applied after relocation and I-94 number is also same for both relocaiton and extension cases. Is their any process/website to get visa/I-94 expiry date information from USCIS based on I-94 number. 2) my stamped visa is already expired, but my family have stamped visa till 01/2019. Now my question is If I go to India I should go for stamping, does my family also required to go for stamping? Link to comment

kavithaudhai
Same scenario happened to one of my employees, She has got her amendment + extension until Oct 2019. before that, we had filed an amendment for the same client and missed to withdraw the amendment and now we have received the approval for the amendment until Jan 2017 on May 2017. Due to which the H1B duration reduced from Oct 2019 to Jan 2017. please advise on how to handle this situation to be legally allowed to stay in the US and continue to work. Link to comment
