My husband got the H1B visa in Oct 2016 and I got the H4 visa by filing I539 (COS) and we both haven't done the visa stamping yet. I am currently pursuing MBA on H4 visa and planning to transfer it to F1 via I539 (COS). Is COS option the right choice? Will I be able to travel to India for a vacation after getting F1 status, and will the visa interview for F1 be risky under current circumstances? Please advice. Thank you. Link to comment
