chikkih1
Hi, One of the employers (a big staffing company) I am speaking with regarding job change is saying I should put down my notice in my current job as soon as USCIS receives document for H1b transfer. I wanted to check with people in similar situations is it advisable to put down your papers once you are provided tracking information of the H1b transfer package or should we wait at least to get the receipt. Thank you! Link to comment
adshah84
There is no such rule. You can keep working even till you receives your H1b approval and even after that if you decides not to join new employer. Link to comment
rohang
to be safe you should wait until you get transfer application approved. If not, then atleast you should have your receipt number. Tracking number is a big BS, you never know what that tracking number is for... Link to comment
