H4 to H1 after I140 Approval

Hi All,

Please help me with below questions.  I was on H1B until 2015 and have an approved I140. I moved to H4 due to personal reasons. I want to start working and hence applied for H4 EAD under c26. 

I want to move to H1b due to current uncertainties. Has anyone moved from H4 to H1 with approved I140 from US? Please post how to proceed.

if your I140 is still active, then search for a employer who is willing to file for H1b (cap exempt), once application gets approved, you can start working.

You can change status. Find an employer who can provide a job and then apply for H-1.
