H1B Visa status

Dear All,
   My name is Krish currently working in India as a programmer. My H1B visa got stamped in 2006 January. I went to USA in 2006 July. Due to recession in USA, I came back to India in 2008 March. I worked in USA for around 22 months only (less than 2 years).

As one of my friend told me that I have still 4 years left in my H1B visa duration (out of total 6 years), I would like to know is there any possibility for me to go back to USA with that H1B with another employer? 

Please guide me about this.

Yes, you can use the remaining 4 years of your H-1 without going through lottery.
