tensedme Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 I had a valid H1B visa and went through and visa extension since there was a change in my job role. and wanted to get the new visa stamped based on my new I-797. While filing for the interview, I found that I am eligible to get the visa interview waived and can submit the documents via dropbox. I did submit the documents and after couple of days I am seeing that there is a mistake in DS160 submission with my SSN number. My passport is still with the consulate and they have not got back to me. What are the consequences ?
