6th Yr of Petition approval / Stamp - Never travelled

I had my H1B petition approved as per below details but never travelled to US.

Could you please let me know till when I am eligible to travel / extension or transfer.

Original I797B notice : Receipt Date: Oct 2011, Notice date: Apr 2012, Validity: Mar 2012 - Apr 2014 (Visa Stamped)

Extension I797B notice : Receipt Date: April 14, Notice date: Oct 2014, Validity: Oct 2014 - March 2017 (Visa Stamped)

You can travel to join the original sponsor any time after they have refiled a H1 petition for you and got it approved. If it is another sponsor you are looking for, then please discuss your specifics with the firm of Murthy or any of your choice before expenditure of time and/or money.

would the original sponsor re-filed application go under CAP or is it exempted (if it is done in 7th year)

You have never travelled and been in H1 status. So year 7 has no meaning. The original sponsor can certainly file a non cap H1 petition for you and you will be entitled to a full 6 years in H1 status. They may choose to have you travel on the existing petition and visa and then file an extension before March.
