Non-profit H1B to For-Profit H1B after I-140 Approval and 6 years of H1B

Hello All,

I am currently working for a Non-profit Institution and in my 5th year with my Perm applied. Once my I-140 is approved and after 6 years of H1B with Non-profit, Can I transfer to for-profit H1b by applying it in April ? 

I never had a approved for-profit H1b Visa
