H4 EAD renewed but not for the entire validity of visa

My H4 is valid until Sep 2019. I got my H4 EAD card a week ago and it's renewed only until Nov 2018. Anyone know why that's the case? Also, does this mean that now I'll apply for my renewal in Aug 2018 (my H4 will be valid) and then I'll get a new EAD valid for less than a year (cuz my visa will expire in Sept 2019) and then I'll renew my visa in April 2019 and apply for EAd renewal again in Aug 2019? 

Just want to make sure that USCIS will still give me EAD for less than a year (when I renew it in 2018). 
Any inputs, should I contact USCIS?

You are right. Need to apply for renewal in Aug 2018 and again in Aug 2019. USCIS will grant less than 1 year extensions.
