Kiran12321
Hi , My application for citizenship is being denied under the pretext that I received my greencard as a dependent on my husband's application before his greencard was approved. I got my GC first and then he got his about 6 months later. Is there any way to reapply? The IO said it was a mistake of the USCIS and nothing that I have done from my side. He said my greencard will be safe and not invalid but it is unfortunate that I cannot apply for citizenship because of this unless I file from a district where these kind of cases have been approved or open a new GC application. I am divorced now and we got divorced 2.5 yr after GC was received. And married for over 8 + yrs total. Please advice. Link to comment
pontevecchio
PLEASE get hold of the firm of Murthy or any of your choice and run the scenario by them. I have no doubt you will succeed in the matter. Link to comment
