should i file EAD/AP while filing spouse GC, employer based EAD/AP expires in 2018

I am about to file concurrent I-130/485 as Immediate relative GC (Spouse) and would like to know if i should file EAD & AP. I do have EAD/AP combo card expiring May 2018 from my current Employer based GC .

And if i should not file EAD/AP do i have to explain anything in application. 

i have EB 3 (India ) PD Feb 2007 and seems like its not moving anywhere for long time. current status Employer based AOS pending

In a situation where you already have an AOS pending based on employment, changing the basis of your AOS needs proper handling and so let a Law firm handle it. As regards AP/EAD, you do not have to apply based on family.
