nkimidi7y Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 Hello, I wish to apply for a Tourist Visa. I am 29 years old. I used to work and stay in USA until July 2015. I resigned my software job, moved back to India and started working with my father's business. I do not get paid as in a monthly salary since every of my needs are taken care by my parents. I wish to show my savings of bank accounts in USA as financial proofs. However, is it necessary that I show the following? 1) Proof of property? (I do not have anything on my name. My father has some property). 2) A letter stating my position in my business? ( I am not yet a legal partner, since i manage the business, i can get a letter on company name) 3) A two way ticket? (Can i tell them I will purchase if i get the visa?)
pontevecchio Posted October 17, 2016 Report Posted October 17, 2016 You should keep it simple and apply for a specific purpose, visiting relatives friends etc. and sightseeing. Eye contact and a smile with brief answers will be the ticket. It helps that you MONEY IN THE BANK HERE. Only answer questions asked.
nkimidi7y Posted October 20, 2016 Author Report Posted October 20, 2016 You mean a Bank Account in USA would help? What about the business letter and 2 way ticket? Are they necessary? I am concerned about the employment letter in particular because what sense would a letter from my father help his son get a visa?
