H1B to H4 COS RFE delay in filing

Hello

I was working on H1B till 30th June 2016. I sent my H4 COS application on 1st July 2016. They received it on 6th July 2016. My H1B validity was till 5th October 2016. 

I got an RFE asking why was there a 6 day delay in filing for COS. I have the Fedex receipt showing the mailing date. 

Please advice on how to reply to this RFE.
