Urgent: 90 day OPT rule

Hi guys, I'm trying to save my OPT from expiring due to the 90 day unemployment rule. I'm 10 days from breaching the unemployment limit of 90 days, and wondering what I can do about it.

My field of study is journalism, and the only offer I have right now is to work for a news company in New Delhi, India as its US correspondent. I wanted to know if this work would count as valid under OPT rules. Or is it a must that I must get a job only with a company based in the US?
