H1B to L1A Conversion - Urgent

Dear Sir/Madam,

My employer has initiated a H1B to L1A Visa conversion. My H1B visa(6 years) expires on 09/17/2016 however my 6 year tenure for H1B(including recapture period) expires on 10/18/2016. My conversion process is currently being processed in Premium and have received a RFE which has a due date of 11/14/2016.

My Question:

1. Can I stay in the US with my Receipt # until I get a decision on my H1B to L1A conversion process? Can I continue to work?

2. Or Can I stay until 10/18/2016 with my Receipt # until I get a decision on my H1B to L1A conversion process?

You can stay till the H1 I94 is valid. Of course you can get the L1 visa and return if approval is delayed.
