Eligibility for Minor Children

Good Morning guys, Me and my wife had applied for our Citizenship on June 2nd 2016. My question is that my daughter will be 16 years old as of November. Do i have to wait until she becomes 18 to apply for her Citizenship or after one of the Parents become Citizen. Thank You.

Where were your children born? Perhaps not in the U.S., otherwise they are automatically citizens. But note that family members including children are eligible for GC based on the citizenship of parents. I don't think they can get citizenship automatically when their parents get citizenship.

7 FAM 1158  CHILD CITIZENSHIP ACT OF 2000. Your minor children become citizens when you naturalize.
