H1B transfer while extension is in progress

Hi,

I am currently working for Employer A and my H1b extension is in progress with USCIS. My current H1B with Employer A got expired recently and the new petition is under processing. I got an offer from another employer B recently. Am i eligible to move to employer B. Can employer B process extension and transfer at the same time? i hope, they can. Plz suggest.

Your Employer B should be able to do the transfer with your receipt notice from Employer A.  Request your employer A to not withdraw your H1b extension till your transfer goes through.  Employer A may have to run your paycheck until then.

I feel B is applying after your I94 expiry in such case B petition will be bridge petition and it depends on A H1B extension.

My advise join B when their petition is approved.

Can anyone plz respond on this topic?

I am in a similar situation but my new employer is not ready to file bridge petition, it seems their immigration team is a bit hesitant. I am not sure if that is because my H1 and I-94 have expired. The new employer is willing to transfer only after extension from current employer is approved.
