subash1705
I am in India. I am not working on H1B. Just I am holding approved petition with me. My petition was approved on Jan 2017. I don't have VISA stamping. In this case how many years I will come under cap exempt ? Currently I am trying to transfer my petition to another employer. Is it possible to transfer my petition to another employer ? Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
You have to start work with the initial sponsor before you can "transfer". Quote Link to comment
subash1705
My initial sponsor is not in a position to offer a project in US. They only told me to transfer the petition to another employer. That's why I am trying to transfer my petition to another employer. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
In this case how many years I will come under cap exempt ? - Your current will end in Sept 2019 since you did not get it stamped and did not start work for the employer after coming to USA. Currently I am trying to transfer my petition to another employer ? - There is NO question of H1B transfer since you did not get onto H1B. Is it possible to transfer my petition to another employer ? - Same above answer. Quote Link to comment
