Mykidos Posted March 6, 2019 Report Share Posted March 6, 2019 My husband's I-485 was denied and the reason "I think" is for the type of Visa c-1 . But what I don't understand is , if he got approved for a work permit etc why did his i485 got denied . Can anybody answer plz Link to comment

newacct Posted March 6, 2019 Report Share Posted March 6, 2019 Do you have the denial notice which states the reason for the denial? What basis was he immigrating on? (i.e. what category? family-based or employment based? who was the petitioner? etc.) How did he enter the US? Was he ever out of status? The approval of the EAD has nothing to do with the approval of his I-485. Link to comment
