Vivaan
Hello all, I have a valid h1b visa stamp till sep 2017 and my wife has her H4 valid stamp till Sep 2017 with my previous employer 'A'. Recently I got a new offer from employer 'B' and transfer my H1B to employer 'B' and it is approved till Jan 2018. My previous employer 'A' terminated my H1B . During my H1B extension to 'B' my wife traveled to India and I didn't file her H4 extension because she is not in USA during my H1B transfer to employer 'B'. Does she still need to go for H4 visa stamping ? Does she travel to USA with her old visa stamp with new employer approved I 797? Thanks. Link to comment

She can travel on existing visa with the new employer's I-797. Link to comment
adshah84
She don't need I797. She can enter using her old H4 and you can apply for extension once she is here. Link to comment
