H1BExtn2008
Hi,I have L1A (Individual) valid for 1 year and company plans to start EB1-C Green-card soon. I will have attorney for this once process starts.I am curious to know what would be fastest way to get Green-card. Can I-140 and I-485 applied simultaneously while on L1A? What time-frame I should be looking at for completion of all stages (best case to worst case)? Thanks for taking time to read this and response. Link to comment
praveen_2509
I am not an expert but based on my experience I can say that it is best to file all documents at one go ( I-140, 485, 765, 131). As a Multi National Manager, all of these can be filed at one go. Risk is that if I-140 gets rejected, all the other documents will go through same fate which means that you will lose filing money on those processes. I guess it is worth the risk. Reg the timelines, I think,no one can certainly say but I would say an avg of 6 months. My attorney set up the expectation that it may take about 15 months for me Link to comment
