infoseeker2016
Hello, I work for Company A based out of Detroit. I have been in my current role for three years now. I am interested in an internal job transfer located in Austin. Company A filed for my Green card under EB2 and my priority date is March 2014. Per the HR, if I chose to the accept the internal offer, there will be no change in my salary, befits and job level. I am really interested in this new role, but will it adversely impact my Green Card Application? Current Title: Senior Systems Architect Primary Skill set: Java/Android New Title: Application Development Manager Primary Skill set: Java/Android Category: EB2 Priority Date: March 2014 Link to comment
infoseeker2016
Thanks for responding. But, per the local immigration team: You would likely have to go through the perm process etc. again but it would not impact your priority date. We would need the two full job descriptions and management’s indication on the significance of difference between the two positions and their responsibility level and could then have the attorneys assess if you need to be more specific. JoeF
The LC is for a particular location (unless it says something like unforeseen location). So, it has to be redone. The PD can only be reused if you have an approved I-140. Link to comment
