videep Posted May 10, 2011 Report Share Posted May 10, 2011 My I485 and 2 dependents got denied last week as the I140 was denied (A2P). My employer has filed an MTR for I140. Should we file MTR for the three I 485 cases and pay $630*3 = $1890 as fees? When we are applying for MTR should we include the MTR receipt notice of I140? Link to comment

I saw a case on forum that the guy filed MTR just for the main beneficiary and all dependents still denied. be careful if you filed just for you, may You lost the the dates for filed MTR for all dependents. videep Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 I am confused as according to a lawyer there is no need to file MTR for I485 if an MTR is already filed for I140. They say I485 will be reopened automatically by USCIS if the MTR on I140 is opened or approved. Anyone please suggest. Link to comment
