Is it safe to go for H1B stamping, while the amendment is in progress ?

Hi,

 

I have got my H1b visa approved and valid from 2015 Oct. I have recently changed the job (employer is same and client is different) and have to file amendment. I am planning to file amendment and then visit India for stamping. 

 

Is it safe to do so ? Or would it be better to file my amendment in Premium process and then visit India after getting the approval ?

 

 

Please help me on this.
