H1B transfer with amendment in processing

Hi,

 

I work for a Company A and working at a client location. I moved to the current client location 6 months back and an amendment was filed by my employer when I moved to this client location. The amendment is filed in regular and its been 6 months and its still in processing.

 

Currently, I want to change to a new company and get my H1 transferred. To proceed with this should my amendment be processed? Please advise.
