I140 approved, H1B extended, query about job change

Hello,

My I140 is approved (EB2) and H1B visa extended for 3 years, till Jan 2014. I want to change job.

My 6 year term (based on first H1B) will complete in Oct 2012. Will the H1B transfer by new company be till Jan 2014 or Oct 2012?

Based on the above question, if H1B validity from new company is till Oct 2012, do I need to apply for Labor Certification before October 2011 (before end of 5th year) from the new company?

I got the H1B approved till December 2013 from new company.

I am in similar suituation like you, I appreciate if you can able to clar below doubts.

1)My 6 yrs H1B will be completed by 2012 Sep and My 140 is approved with current employer.

Probably will be approved by June 2011.

2)I have good offer from the new employer from July 2011, if i transfer my H1 to them will i get 3 yrs of extension based on 140 approved from old employer?

else my new emploeyr should apply Labor before sep 2011.?

How did you apply for the 3 year extension so early? I thought you could only do it 6 months before the end of your 6 year term so for you only after April 2012. Am I wrong? Can you apply for it anytime after your I-140 is approved?
