H4 EAD pending for over 9 months

Hello,

I had submitted an EAD application on the basis of approved H4. EAD application was "received" on May 27, 2015, and there has been no status update since then. I have logged 2 SRs, after waiting the initial 90 days, and each time I got a response stating the following:

 

"The Vermont Service Center (VSC) recognizes that the petition you are inquiring about is outside normal processing times.  A review of electronic systems indicates that your petition is currently with an Immigration Service Officer.  You should receive a decision notice or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

 

What options do I have now to get this case resolved? I can log another SR now (60 days have passed again!!) but I am concerned I will just get another canned response and have to wait another 60 days.
