rakesh.balavanthapu
Hello All, I got my PERM approved recently and employer is ready to file I-140. I am supposed to sign under Alien Declaration section in certified PERM that I got from DOL. But my employer signed there by mistake. Could you please tell me what my options are Shall I ... 1) apply a white eraser and sign on top of it ? 2) leave it as is and sign above/below/beside where my employer has signed ? 3) ask my attorney to request DOL for a new copy of certified PERM ? The attorney is ridiculously busy with April 1st H1B filings. I appreciate your inputs and advice Thanks, RB Link to comment
rahul412
It's been approved, why do you wanna mess up everything? When attorney is done with his H1's contact him and get it corrected if needed. Link to comment
rakesh.balavanthapu
Please correct me if I am wrong. PERM is applied electronically. Once it is approved/certified, we receive a hard copy of form 9089 which the Alien has to sign. Now, for filing I-140, this signed document is also included and sent to DOL/DHS/USCIS My concern is, since the signature is that of a wrong person, doesn't it jeopardize my I-140 approval ? Thanks, RB Link to comment
