H1B extension beyond 6 years with new employer and approved I-140 from current employer

Hello,

 

I am currently in 6th year of my H1B visa. I got my I-140 approved with my current employer.

if I change job and my new employer files H1B extension with my approved I-140, will it be approved ? Also, will I get 3 years extension ?

Does EB category have any impact on this decision ? Mine is EB3

Your H1 approval depends on the documents submitted for approval not on EB category.
