dreamer92
Howdy! I graduated from one of the most reputed universities in the USA (Texas A&M University, College Station). My university issues the initial i-20 for 36 months which is the maximum time frame to complete Master's program. Most of the students complete the program in 4 semesters and a few students complete it in 3 semesters. However, I was able to complete it in 3 semesters (I put in a lot of effort) and graduated on December 18,2015 with a very good GPA and applied for Post Completion OPT on December 24th. Two days back, I received an RFE. The RFE from USCIS: USCIS records indicate that your Master's program end date has been changed from August 2017 to December 2015. It appears that your Master's program has been shortened by approximately one year and 8 months. Please submit a statement from your Designated School Official(DSO) to explain the reason for change in the program end date. I'm sending my DSO's response along with my official transcript and a copy of my degree certificate. Suggestions on how to handle this rfe would be appreciated. Link to comment
rohang
You are on right track, DSO response should be enough along with copy for official transcripts. Link to comment
