My application (filed on Aug4th) still in case recevied status and no updates...

 

Do you know the latest processed  date in Vermont center and did any body got approval who has filed in july month... Please share .

Now a days its taking 6-8 months for processing. you may here this month or next month.

Post your processing time here once you hear from USCIS.

Hi,

 

I have applied for extension of H1B in month of Dec 2015 along with Extension for my Dependent. I have received a receipt number as well. However status for my case still shows as Case Received. I have received receipt on 21st Dec 2015. Can someone please let me know what is timeframe to get extension approved and for how many months I am eligible to stay with out approval.

 

My case is with Vermont Service Center.

My case was filed for H1b extension on July 28th 2015 under normal processing. I still see the "case was recieved" status as of today Apr 7th 2016. Its more than 8 months and 10 days :(

 

Is there any timelimit upto which we can stay here just with the H1B acknowledgement reciept? I heard its i94 expiry date + 240 days is the limit. Not sure if its true though.

 

Can someone provide inputs on it please?
