roovin
All, This question is about H4 EAD. My spouse got her H4 EAD for next three years, unfortunately due to cost cutting my employer is cutting down visa based employees. I am not sure will my current employer will cancel my current I-140, so is it possible to get H4 EAD from new employer without I-140 i.e. does my spouse need to wait until I get my new I-140 from new employer or can she keep working. rohang
she will not have to go for H4 ead, as current EAD is valid. But before going for future extension you should have valid I140. but I will suggest better call a lawyer and get it confirmed, dont rely on forum. Link to comment
adshah84
If your current employer will revoke your I140 then your wife's H4 EAD will no longer valid and she will have to wait till you get new I140 from new employer. So it's better to check with your employer if they are going to revoke I140 or not. Normally big company doesn't revoke I140s. Link to comment
