L2 EAD TO LIA OR EB1C category

Hi,

I am a senior executive (Asst VP) with a company. I was working with the company in India for more than 6 years when I resigned and moved to the US on an L2  last year (2015). I got an EAD and starting working in the US for the subsidiary of the same company. Due to my seniority in the organization and the large team I manage I qualify for the managerial/executive category. Can I apply for L1A or EB1C category and change my status while I am in the US? Please suggest. Also from an ease to conversion perspective would you recommend an L1A or directly applying for EB1 C category?
