140 approved and amended, is my spouse eligible for H4 EAD - urgent

My I140 is approved and attorney noticed that the EB category was incorrectly mentioned. They sent it for correction and its under amendment process. Is my spouse eligible for applying H4 EAD when amendment is currently under process. Please advise. Thanks for you help!

Would suggest you to wait till the process is completed. Or take the risk and apply. If you are lucky you might get and then may be send the amendment notice/proof.
