kiravi
Hi, I'm a single divorced parent. I have got my H-1B visa recently and would like to apply for H-4 visa for my 5 year old daughter. I have the sole custody of the child and the father doesnt have the visiting rights, I have the dicorce decree document with me. What are the documents required for my daughter's H-4 visa? - Divorce decree with sole custody (no visiting rights for the father). Is this enough? - If a consent letter from the father is required to show to the consulate officer? Anyone who can share details in this regard is appreciated. Link to comment
JoeF
It depends on the divorce decree. IF you have sole custody of the child with no visitation rights of the father it should be ok. You check with an immigration lawyer (like from the law firm that runs this forum) to make sure you don't run into problems. Link to comment
