Green card:Current employer and future employer.Need advice asap!

Hello, 

 

I am in a very tricky situation.My six years H1 with recapture time ends on June 2017.My current employer is a mutinational company and they are going to send PERM application by March first week and I am hoping to get labor approved by sometime in Sep and then they take two months to submit I140.The ideal situation is get I140 approved by Jan next year..My company is not doing well financially and if something happens in September or October with ONLY MY LAbor approved,What are my options ? Can I use my labor and move to some other company?Even if my I140 is not filed and and I am not with the current employer will get 1 year extension ?

 

Would it be advisable to have a consultant(my former employer) to start my green card as future employer sometime in July 2016 to be on the safe side.

 

Please advice.

No new employer/company has to file a new PERM for you.
