OPT to H4 EAD

My wife is on OPT I applied here H4 and EAD simultaneously in Sep 2015 with my H1 ammendment which is pending till date and that H1 is valid until Mar 20 2016. But my employer applied for my H1B extension in premium and got it approved until Mar 2019 as my wifes h4 petetion is pending already he could not apply for her extension. Her opt is valid until Jul 11th.

 

As she is currently employed what are the possibilities that I can file her H4 and EAD on my new H1 petition which has been approved recently? Do you suggest me to withdraw the old petition and file for new one?

 

Thanks in advance any inputs would be greatly appreciated for her to continue working.

An H4 is not tied to an employer. It only requires that the primary person is in valid H1 status.

The EAD will not be worked on until the H4 is approved, even if both are filed simultaneously.
