H1B H4 conversion

Hi all,

 

We had applied H1B to H4 conversion for my wife on july 23 2015. Now the petition has  moved to following status 

 

On February 1, 2016, we terminated your Form I539, APPLICATION TO EXTEND OR CHANGE NONIMMIGRANT STATUS, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXX, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means. We will send you a termination notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. 

 

Not entirely sure what this status means? Has anybody experienced this?. We haven't applied for H4 conversion elsewhere this only application we submitted for H1B to H4 conversion.
