Procrastinator898
Hi, I am planning to go for my first H1B stamping in the near future. I came to US on a F1 Visa back in 2005. Completed my undergrad and grad school before joining a Consulting firm. I have been working with my current consulting for more than 2 years, got my H1B in 2015 and am currently on EVC model. My dilemma is that I have a very a common Muslim Name and in my previous attempts for F1 Visa I got a "Name Check" administrative processing which took almost a year on both occasions to get my visa. Also my client doesn't provide client letters but I can definitely try to get a letter from my manager. I can try either Consulate Mumbai or Delhi in India or even Canada or Mexico. Any suggestions and cases are more than appreciated Link to comment
jdsethi2575
hi, I would suggest you should go to Matamoros Mexico for stamping coz there is a very high possibility that you get stuck in India. Let me know if you need any info on the Matamoros Visa process as i recently got my visa and can help you. Link to comment
rohang
it depends, if in worst case it gets stuck, where would you like to be? in some alien country (canada, mexico)? or in india? Link to comment
