immig2015
Hello, I recently got my handwritten passport renewed from the DC Embassy. I have two questions: 1) My passport has a typo. My birth place is Mysore, Karnataka, but the passport has "Mysore Karanataka" with an extra 'a' after 'r' in Karnataka. Should I get this corrected right away? Just worried that if I don't get it corrected, I may have issues while travelling as its a machine readable passport and it will flag "Karanataka" as an unidentifiable state in India. 2) The old, handwritten passport had Page #2 for Emigration Status and Page #34 for "Foreign Exchange for Travelling Expenses". Both of these pages are missing from the new passport. Is this a problem and do you recommend I have to contact the embassy about it? Thank you Link to comment
