colekata
I have an I-797C which was issued back in 2014.The USCIS website says about my case: Decision Notice MailedOn December 9, 2014, we denied your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number EAC1414******. We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your denial notice by December 24, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.=====================================================================My question is, can a new employer use that old I-797C to apply for my cap exempt application? rohang
It seems your case was denied, so I797 is not valid. How did you received 797c when your application was denied? Link to comment
rahul412
For cap-exempt you need 797A approval notice, not just a receipt number. That denied application, is that your first H1? Link to comment
