Hi, I have a specific question related to the below requirement as part of N470 application, and whether I quality for N470 given my situation. Here is the question in the application that checks for one year of uninterrupted stay within The United States.

"Have you resided in and been physically present in The United States for an uninterrupted period of at least 1 year since your admission as a permanent resident?

Here is my situation.

My wife and I received Green Card thru consular processing in October 2013 in India. After that, I (alone, not my wife) entered the country on November 2nd on work, but stayed only for a week, and went back to India. In March 2014, all of us moved to US for good, and stayed in The US for more than 365 days without any interruption.

So, Here is the timeline.

GC Start Date: 11/02/2013 (November 2 2013)
Stay in US: 11/02/2013 - 11/09/2013 - 8 days inside the country
travel: 11/09/2013 - 03/08/2014 - 119 days outside
Stay in US: 03/08/2014 - 05/31/2015 - 448 days inside the Country

here is my question. Do I satisfy the continuous stay requirement for N470? as I have stayed for 448 consecutive days without travel from 03/08/2014 to 05/31/2015?

Or, is continuous stay of 365 days required within the first year of getting the green card? In other words, should I have stayed in the country from 11/02/2013 to 11/02/2014, as I have read somewhere? If that is true, does it mean I am not qualified to file N470?

So, the confusion is around what exactly "since your admission as a permanent resident" mean? Does it mean anytime after receiving the green card (in which case I meet the requirement) or does it mean right from the day I received green card (in which case I do not seem to qualify?)

Thanks a lot
