L2 EAD to H4 EAD

Hello,

 

I want to know the process of L2 EAD conversion to H4 EAD. i.e.I am on L1 and my spouse is on L2 and is currently employed with L2 EAD.  I have a sanctioned H1 that I haven't stamped and my I-140 is sanctioned. So, If I stamp my H-1 and my spouse's visa status changes from L2 to H4, would she be able to continue her employment and as a background process renew her EAD to the "new" H4 EAD? Or does she have to remain unemployed till she gets the new EAD approved?

She has to wait till her H4 EAD is approved.
